Silver is the most easily underestimated currency in Lost Ark. While you accumulate millions of Silver in Tier 1 and Tier 2, you can run out of it surprisingly quickly in Tier 3. In this guide, we’ll look at how you can reliably and repeatably farm silver.

Why is Silver so Valuable?

Silver is so valuable because Tier 3 gear upgrades cost a significant amount of silver. Due to the low chance of success, you also have to carry out so many upgrade attempts that individual, successful upgrades cost 6-digit silver early on.

In addition, the sources of income for silver are relatively small. If you play few alts (or push them with upgrades, too), you rarely earn enough silver through the normal content.

Best Way to Farm Silver

There are few ways to farm silver. Most of the methods that yield a lot of silver are one-off quests or quest chains.

But what you really need is a repeatable method for consistent silver income. Luckily there is a way:

The Una’s Tasks at Lopang Island.

Open your Una’s Tasks with Alt+J. Select “Location” as the search filter and enter “Lopang”. Now you will see the 6 available Lopang tasks. A character can do 3 of these per day. Usually, you take the 3 most lucrative:

• Shushire
• Vern
• Arthetine

In case you can’t see them yet, you must visit Lopang Island once. To do this, open the world map and type “Lopang” in the top right to highlight it. Here you will need to complete a small introductory questline.

Optimize Lopang Dailies

Your main character will usually do Una’s Tasks giving you important upgrade materials. But any characters you have and aren’t currently pushing can be optimized for Lopang. This reduces the duration of the dailies to 2-3 minutes and thus earns 79,200 silver per day per character at the beginning of T3.
