HANOVER, Pa. (WHP) — Police in Pennsylvania announced three people were killed, and a fourth seriously injured, in a stabbing in York County on Thursday.
Officers were called to a home in the late morning and said they found a 27-year-old man outside with serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Inside the home, they reported finding the bodies of a 17-year-old and a 49-year-old woman. The man had told police she was a relative.
Then, officers said they found a 50-year-old man down the road with stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police said they believe the incident was contained to the people who lived at the home and say there is no threat to the community.
No arrests have been announced.
A neighbor who saw the police told WHP the people who lived at the home were quiet and didn't bother anybody.
"This is a quiet neighborhood. I was born and raised in this neighborhood for 63 years, so we don’t have this type of stuff ever happen. So yeah, I’m shocked," David Wine said.Police said they're looking for people who may have surveillance video and ask anyone with information to call them.
